Description Transforming WHAT we do and HOW we do it. We are embarking on a program of global business transformation enabled by the implementation of a new global technology solution. The delivery and embedding of this technology solution across our highly successful and highly de-centralized business will change the way we work forever, enabling greater data insight, simplification of processes and ways of working and creating greater collaboration across the business.

Purpose The SAP Solution Manager in partnership with our SI partner and SAP will be responsible for designing our global SAP template within a specific workstream plus regional localisations for each Wave of the roll-out, following a ‘Fit to Standard’ approach. He/she will own the end to end SAP solution within their workstream, and participate within the Design Authority when required, ensuring the right governance is in place to effectively manage key design decisions, solution scope and adherence to best practice, and SAP standards.

The Solution Manager will deputise for the SAP Solution Architect, when they are not available or have requested them to do so.

Scope Will involve international travel and flexibility in working hours aligned with a global role.

Key Responsibilities Key Accountabilities

- Ownership of the end-to-end solution design across more than one workstream; defining solutions that are fit for purpose in terms of strategic alignment, quality, cost and time, and adhere to target architecture




- Lead the ‘fit-to-standard’ design process to establish a TwiningsOvo ‘Global Template’ that meets the needs of all our businesses and lead the business design validation and acceptance process
- Manage localisations and protect the ‘Global Template’ as the solution is rolled-out through multiple deployment Waves
- Co-ordinate project activities amongst functional and team members.
- Provide Project management expertise and leads key project workstreams following project governance processes.
- Scope, plan and manage projects through the entire lifecycle ensuring delivery to time and Quality.
- Must have robust experience in SAP S/4 HANA Finance/ RTR/ FP& A
- Robustly challenge any deviations from SAP standard, best practice solutions and manage the RICEFW inventory
- QA/approve Functional deliverables from internal teams, our SI partner and other external third parties
- Support GPO in defining ‘End-to-End’ business scenarios to be used during design, the solution validation process and to feed into test scenario scoping
- Apply design thinking principles for product innovation and design solutions.
- Support the Solution Architect in the Design Authority governance forum
- Support the Solution Architect and help mentor the business analysts in delivering joined up end to end solutions providing guidance and best practice where necessary
- Provide SAP Functional expertise and knowledge to support design prototyping and maximise the value of prototyping by taking forward the learnings and outputs into the solution and end-to-end design
- Manage all aspects of technical delivery for their team on a large complex project (SAP build, test and deploy to plan for their area; liaise across project teams, 3rd parties and delivery partners to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery)
- Manage escalations necessary to ensure solution integrity and efficiency,



and ensure senior management is aware of significant issues or opportunities
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the SAP product set and its strategic direction
- Able to identify and prioritize changes to business practice and key solution enablers that will drive business benefits for clients in a specific area of expertise

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Experience/ Attainments

- Minimum 14 years industry experience with at least 10-12 years’ experience in SAP – Finance Module- design, build & test, having been involved in multiple full lifecycle implementations
- Must have at least 1 End to End implementation experience in S/4 HANA Finance/ RTR/ FP&A;
- SAP functional understanding across multiple SAP LoBs: Manufacturing, Quality Management, Materials Management, Warehouse Management, Sales & Distribution and FICO
- Must have worked in multi country implementation/ Roll outs
- Experience of SAP implementations and transformation programs

Skills / Knowledge

- Ability to understand a wide range of disciplines in enough detail to communicate effectively with experts in those areas to enable delivery of E2E solutions designs
- Possess a solid understanding of AGILE development methodologies
- Ability to understand, explain and present Solution Design to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels up to senior management in a persuasive and convincing manner
- Experience of working in a fast paced international business, and working with teams in different geographies
- Skilled in building strong external and internal strategic relationships
