Role & responsibilities The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and management of the project.

Key responsibilities will include

- Coordinating and communicating with clients, government departments, other agencies, consultants, and stakeholders.

- Understanding client requirements and ensuring that project deliverables are completed as per the agreed scope and timelines.

- Managing client communication and coordination throughout the project.

- Coordinating with various agencies for required approvals, permissions, drawings, surveys, and project-related documentation.

- Preparing, reviewing, and managing technical drawings and AutoCAD drawings as required for the project.

- Conducting and coordinating site surveys and ensuring that survey data is accurate and properly documented.

- Managing survey coordinates, fixing control points, benchmarks, and other required reference points at the project site.

- Coordinating with survey teams, engineers, draftsmen, contractors, and other project personnel.

- Reviewing drawings, survey information, and technical documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.

- Monitoring project progress and coordinating day-to-day project activities.

- Identifying project requirements, resolving coordination issues, and ensuring timely completion of assigned works.

- Maintaining proper project records, drawings, survey data, reports, and correspondence.

- Ensuring that project activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, applicable standards,



and client requirements.

- Providing regular updates to management and the client regarding project progress, issues, and required actions.

Preferred candidate profile The candidate should have hands-on experience in civil utility shifting and utility coordination, particularly for infrastructure and road projects.

Key experience should include

- Experience in utility shifting/diversion works for civil infrastructure projects.

- Hands-on experience in pressure pipeline shifting, including planning, alignment, execution, testing, and commissioning.

- Experience in shifting water supply pipelines / pressure pipelines in coordination with the Delhi Jal Board (DJB).

- Experience in obtaining approvals, coordinating drawings, inspections, shutdowns, and other requirements with Delhi Jal Board.

- Experience in utility shifting and coordination with National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for highway/road projects.

- Coordination with DJB, NHAI, other utility agencies, consultants, contractors, and clients.

- Experience in site survey, utility identification, survey coordinate fixing, alignment marking, and preparation/review of AutoCAD drawings.

- Ability to coordinate existing and proposed utility alignments and resolve site-level utility conflicts.

- Experience in managing utility shifting activities from survey and planning through execution and final handover.

- Candidate should be capable of independently handling client and agency coordination related to utility shifting works.
