Reporting To Project Head / Project Director

Key Responsibilities

- Overall responsibility for execution and management of civil construction activities at the project site.
- Plan, coordinate and monitor construction works as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedules.
- Manage major civil works related to Pumped Storage / Hydro projects, including excavation, foundations, concrete works, roads, structures, water-retaining structures and associated infrastructure.
- Coordinate with the client, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and internal project teams for smooth project execution.
- Prepare and monitor daily, weekly and monthly work plans to achieve project milestones.
- Ensure optimum deployment and utilization of manpower, machinery, materials and other resources.
- Review drawings, BOQs, method statements and technical requirements and coordinate with the engineering team for timely resolution of site issues.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and take corrective actions wherever required.
- Ensure implementation of QA/QC, safety and environmental requirements at site.
- Monitor quantities, measurements,



billing and contractor/subcontractor works.
- Identify construction-related risks, constraints and delays and coordinate for timely resolution.
- Conduct regular site meetings and submit progress reports to senior management.
- Ensure proper documentation of construction activities, inspections, approvals and project records.
- Lead and motivate the site execution team and ensure effective coordination between all departments.

Desired Candidate Profile
- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 10–20 years of relevant experience in large infrastructure, Hydro or Pumped Storage projects.
- Strong experience in civil construction and project execution, preferably in Pumped Storage / Hydro projects.
- Good knowledge of construction planning, resource management, quality control and project monitoring.
- Ability to read and interpret civil, structural and engineering drawings.
- Solid leadership, coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work at a remote project site and manage site execution independently.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in Pumped Storage Projects, Hydro Power Projects, dams, reservoirs, tunnels, heavy civil works, concrete structures and associated infrastructure will be preferred.
