About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and organized Project Management Intern to join our team and directly support our Project Manager. This is not a learning-only role — from Day 1, you will be involved in real project coordination, follow-ups, and tracking across active product and engineering sprints. If you are someone who likes structure, loves ticking off checklists, communicates clearly, and takes ownership of tasks without being chased — this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Coordination & Follow-Ups
- Send daily follow-up messages to developers on pending tasks and blockers
- Track sprint progress and flag delays to the PM proactively
- Maintain and update task boards (Jira / ClickUp / Notion or equivalent)
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare weekly status reports summarizing sprint progress, risks, and blockers
- Maintain project trackers: task status, deadlines, ownership
- Document meeting notes, decisions,
and action items after every standup or stakeholder call
Sprint & Milestone Tracking
- Monitor sprint burndown and flag deviations to the PM
- Ensure tasks are always updated with correct status and assignees
- Coordinate with developers to close out completed items and push blockers
Risk & Issue Tracking
- Identify and log potential risks based on task delays or communication gaps
- Escalate blockers to the PM with context and suggested next steps
Stakeholder Support
- Help prepare presentation decks or summary docs for stakeholder reviews
- Coordinate scheduling for meetings, reviews, and demos
- Share project updates with relevant stakeholders on a regular cadence
Required Skills We expect a beginner-level candidate. You don't need prior work experience — but you do need the right mindset and fundamentals.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English
- Organized and detail-oriented — you notice what others miss
- Ability to follow up without being prompted and take ownership of tasks
- Basic understanding of project management lifecycle
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, startup-style environments
- Familiar with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize under pressure
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Exposure to project management tools: Jira, ClickUp, Notion, Trello, or Asana
- Basic familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodology
- Experience creating simple reports or dashboards
- Any internship, freelance, or project-based experience in a team setting
- Knowledge of basic Excel / Google Sheets for tracking
Internship Structure
- The duration of the internship is 6 months.
- Interns who demonstrate strong performance, design ownership, learning ability, and meaningful contribution may be considered for internship extension
