Experience - 8-12 years in project management within capital projects, EPC, or industrial plant setting

Must-have

Engineering degree - B.Tech or B.E. in Mechanical, Chemical, or related discipline

-8-12 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a project management or project coordination role on capital projects.

- Proficient in project management software MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent. Must be able to build and maintain a working project schedule independently, not just update a template someone else has built.

-Demonstrable experience managing multiple simultaneous workstreams involving external vendors and contractors not just internal team coordination -Has personally owned a project schedule and been accountable when it slipped

-Comfortable reading engineering drawings, P&IDs;, and equipment packages well enough to have a credible technical conversation

-Strong written and verbal communication - can write a crisp project status note and present it to leadership without hand-holding

Willing to travel to Cte d'Ivoire (West Africa) for site visits - multiple times per year

Vendor & contractor coordination





Track all open purchase orders and vendor commitments: delivery dates, inspection milestones, documentation submissions

Escalate vendor delays proactively; coordinate with the procurement team on mitigation options

Manage contractor schedules on-site during erection and commissioning phases: hold contractors to scope and timeline

– Coordinate across OEMs, civil contractors, electrical vendors, and equipment suppliers simultaneously across multiple projects

Strong advantage

Background at an EPC firm, industrial equipment company, or process plant developer

– Experience managing projects in an emerging market or international environment - used to working with suppliers and contractors across geographies

– Familiarity with any of the three asset types: solvent extraction, pyrolysis/thermal processing, or steam-based power

– Has managed vendor contracts and purchase orders directly, not just tracked them

– French language skills - a practical advantage for working in Cte d'Ivoire
