Role Summary

Ample Solar is looking for a Project Engineer to take ownership of the execution of commercial and industrial solar projects from post sales handover through planning, installation, testing, and commissioning.

The role involves close coordination with engineering, procurement, dispatch, installation, electrical and customer teams to ensure that projects are executed systematically, within the committed schedule, and as per the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Take ownership of end to end execution of commercial solar projects from sales handover to commissioning.
- Develop project execution schedules covering engineering, material readiness, dispatch, site installation, electrical works, testing and commissioning.
- Coordinate with Design, Liaisoning team, Procurement, Stores, Dispatch and Installation teams to ensure timely availability of resources and materials.
- Plan and coordinate deployment of installation teams based on project requirements and execution schedules.
- Monitor project progress against planned milestones and ensure timely completion of activities.
- Identify project constraints, site issues, and potential delays in advance and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Coordinate with customers, site representatives, vendors, and contractors for smooth project execution.
- Ensure execution is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, safety and quality requirements.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, statutory/DISCOM activities wherever applicable, and final project handover.
- Maintain project status, execution records, and timely reporting to the management.

Candidate Profile

- 3–4 years of experience in Solar EPC/Project Execution, preferably handling commercial or industrial rooftop projects.
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, electrical installation, and project execution.
- Experience in coordinating installation teams, contractors, vendors and multiple internal departments.




- Good knowledge of project planning, material coordination, and site execution.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work towards strict project timelines.
- Strong communication, coordination, follow-up, and problem solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and project tracking/reporting tools will be an advantage.
