This is a CSR-funded, five-year research project focused on laboratory-based R&D; and the development, validation, and field deployment of advanced molecular diagnostic tools for Crop management and productive farming.
- CRISPR based Molecular Assay development and validation
- Molecular marker analysis
- Laboratory and field validation studies
- Data analysis, report writing and publications
- Farmer training and technology deployment
- (Candidate must be willing to travel and perform Agri-field based evaluations)
Qualification:
- M.Sc.
in Agricultural Biotechnology/ Plant Biotechnology /Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Life Sciences or related disciplines specialized in plants with minimum 60% aggregate during post-graduation.
Experience:
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with valuable communication skills, strong scientific writing and presentation skills. Hands-on experience in basic plant molecular biology techniques, molecular assay development is essential.
