3-5 Years of Experience in application development and design using Progress 4GL/Open

Edge 10.x, 11.x, 12.x concepts (Application Development Role only)

Mandatory skills

- Strong knowledge of Application development using Progress 4GL/OpenEdge 10.x,

11.x, 12.x etc.
- Strong knowledge of Progress Database concepts (indexes, triggers, database schema build and maintenance, application performance tuning etc.)
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of ADM & Webservices
- Experience in using Progress 4GL debugger
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical background, willing to learn new tools and technologies
- Passion for continuous learning and focus on quality

Optional skills

- Knowledge of the US Life Insurance domain will be an added advantage
- Prior Experience in VPAS application development is a definite advantage
