Role Description

We are seeking a highly driven Production Planning & Control (PPC) specialist with 5 to 6 years of core experience in Automobile, Aerospace, or High-Reliability Electronics Manufacturing. In this role, you will lead end-to-end operational planning, from Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and Master Production Scheduling (MPS) down to shop-floor execution. You will act as the operational nerve center, managing cross-functional workflows across component sourcing, PCBA manufacturing, box-build integration, and Environmental Stress Screening (ESS).

Furthermore, you will serve as a key liaison aligning top management strategies, sales targets, and customer delivery commitments with real-time manufacturing capacity.

Desired Experience:

- Industry Exposure: 5 to 6 years of hands-on PPC experience in Aerospace & Defence, Automotive, or EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) operating under AS9100D, IATF 16949, or ISO 9001 quality frameworks.
- Proven track record in managing high-mix, low-to-medium volume manufacturing, PCBA manual assembly, wiring harness, System-level mechanical integration & Manufacturing, Supply chain.
- Direct exposure to testing workflows, acceptances, and Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) environments (thermal cycling, ESS, vibration, and functional testing).
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, advanced Excel macros/data analytics, BOM management,



transparent-to-build (CTB) tracking, and capacity planning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Master Scheduling & Shop-Floor Planning: Develop, maintain, and execute Master Production Schedules (MPS) and Material Requirement Plans (MRP) for SMT/PCBA assembly, mechanical integration, and final testing to ensure 100% On-Time Delivery (OTD).
- Cross-Functional Operations Liaison:
- Manufacturing & Assembly: Coordinate with production and engineering teams to optimize line balancing, eliminate shop-floor bottlenecks, and track daily output against target routings.
- Supply Chain & Materials Management: Partner with SCM, stores, and procurement to monitor component lead times, track critical active/passive electronic components, verify CTB readiness, and optimize store kitting processes.
- Testing & ESS Integration: Plan and route assemblies through functional testing, screening, and ESS labs to prevent testing backlogs and maintain steady WIP throughput.
- Strategic & Customer Interfacing:
- Top Management Engagement: Prepare daily/weekly progress dashboards, WIP reports, capacity utilization matrices, and delay analysis reports for executive reviews.
- Sales & Customer Touchpoints: Serve as the primary operational contact for the sales team and clients to provide accurate Lead Time estimates (ATP/CTP), order tracking, and delivery timelines.
- Process & Inventory Control: Control Work-in-Progress (WIP) levels, reduce inventory carrying costs, enforce strict engineering change order (ECO) controls, and drive continuous improvement through Lean and 5S initiatives on the shop floor.
