Role Description The Production Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kalol, responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations of pharma intermediates and APIs. The role involves monitoring production processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and coordinating with Quality Control and R&D; teams for smooth workflow.

The Production

Officer will plan and allocate resources, track production targets, and maintain accurate documentation as per regulatory and company requirements. Day-to-day tasks include supervising shop-floor activities, troubleshooting process issues,



supporting equipment maintenance, and implementing safety and compliance protocols. The role also includes training and guiding production staff on standard operating procedures and continuous improvement practices.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Manufacturing processes, preferably in pharmaceuticals or related chemical industries.
- Experience in Quality Control, with the ability to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Background in Research or process improvement, supporting optimization of production methods and yields.
- Ability to conduct Training for production teams on SOPs, safety, and quality practices.
- Exposure to the Food Industry or other regulated industries is an advantage, demonstrating familiarity with strict compliance environments.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage shop-floor personnel effectively.
- Willingness to work in office in Kalol and follow established safety and environmental guidelines.
