Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Production & Planning Manager to oversee production operations, production planning, inventory coordination, manpower utilization, and dispatch scheduling. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely production execution, maintaining quality standards, optimizing resources, and improving overall operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, planning expertise, and experience in manufacturing operations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Production Management

- Plan, manage, and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets.
- Ensure smooth functioning of manufacturing operations with optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Coordinate with fabrication, assembly, dispatch, and installation teams for seamless operations.
- Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards during production activities.

Production Planning & Control

- Prepare monthly, weekly, and daily production plans based on sales orders and project requirements.
- Monitor production progress and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
- Coordinate with procurement and stores departments for timely material availability.
- Optimize production processes to improve productivity and reduce wastage.





Inventory & Material Management

- Monitor raw material consumption and stock levels.
- Coordinate with stores and procurement teams for inventory planning.
- Ensure proper control over material movement and production records.

Quality & Process Improvement

- Ensure production activities comply with quality standards and company procedures.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce production costs.
- Implement SOPs and production control systems.

Team Management

- Lead and supervise production staff, supervisors, and workers.
- Ensure proper manpower planning and shift management.
- Conduct regular performance monitoring and team coordination meetings.

Reporting & Coordination

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production MIS reports.
- Coordinate with management regarding production status, delays, and operational requirements.
- Maintain proper production documentation and reporting systems.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure workplace safety standards and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor machine maintenance schedules and operational safety practices.

Qualification Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 8–15 years of experience in Production & Planning
- Experience in Manufacturing, Steel Fabrication, Storage Tank, EPC, or Industrial Product industry preferred

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of production planning and manufacturing operations
- Experience in fabrication and industrial production processes
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and production reporting
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
