**Senior Production Manager – Fastener Manufacturing

Role

We are seeking a senior, hands-on Production Manager to take complete responsibility for plant production—from raw material planning to finished fasteners. The role covers cold and hot forging, bolts, nuts, washers, threaded products and associated secondary operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead production planning and execution to achieve daily and monthly targets.
- Manage cold forging, hot forging, nut forming, washer manufacturing, thread rolling, tapping, trimming and secondary operations.
- Coordinate heat treatment, surface finishing, assembly and packing.
- Improve productivity, OEE, machine utilisation, yield and on-time delivery.
- Reduce rejection, rework, tooling consumption, downtime and material loss.
- Manage manpower, shifts, operator allocation and shop-floor discipline.
- Ensure compliance with quality plans, control plans, SOPs, traceability, 5S, safety and IATF 16949 requirements.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, PPC, Stores and Dispatch.
- Drive continuous improvement, Kaizen,



TPM and capacity enhancement.
- Develop supervisors, engineers and operators through structured training.
- Provide daily MIS covering production, downtime, rejection, efficiency and recovery plans.

Candidate Profile

- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
- 12–18 years of production experience in fastener manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of cold/hot forging, bolt and nut manufacturing, threading, tooling and process control.
- Experience managing high-volume production, multiple shifts and large shop-floor teams.
- Good understanding of IATF 16949, APQP, PFMEA, control plans, SPC, OEE, 5S and TPM.
- Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving and accountability.
