About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our high-fashion garment export team. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating production activities from order planning through final shipment, ensuring timely production, quality compliance, and smooth communication between merchandising, production, sampling, quality, stores, and external vendors.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in high-fashion garments/export production, strong follow-up skills, and the ability to manage multiple styles and production timelines simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and monitor the complete production process from order handover to final shipment.
- Prepare and maintain production plans, T&A; (Time & Action) calendars, and production schedules.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Sampling, Cutting, Production, Finishing, Quality, Stores and Dispatch teams.
- Follow up on fabric, trims, accessories, embellishments and other production inputs to ensure timely availability.
- Monitor production progress against planned quantities and delivery dates.
- Follow up with internal production units and job workers/vendors for timely completion.
- Track cutting, sewing, washing, embroidery, printing, finishing and packing activities, as applicable.
- Identify production delays, bottlenecks and critical issues and escalate them to the concerned teams.
- Maintain daily/weekly production status reports and communicate updates to management and merchandising teams.
- Coordinate PP meetings, pre-production activities and production approvals.
- Ensure production is carried out according to approved tech packs, specifications, samples and buyer requirements.




- Coordinate with the Quality team to resolve quality issues and minimize rework/rejection.
- Monitor production efficiency, WIP and pending quantities.
- Ensure adherence to buyer-specific quality standards and shipment deadlines.
- Coordinate final finishing, packing and dispatch activities.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports and documentation.
- Work closely with the merchandising team to ensure smooth execution of buyer orders.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience in garment/apparel production coordination.
- Experience in a high-fashion garment export house will be preferred.
- Good understanding of garment manufacturing processes from cutting to finishing and packing.
- Strong knowledge of production planning and T&A; management.
- Experience coordinating with vendors/job workers is desirable.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Good command of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to prepare production MIS and status reports.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple styles/orders simultaneously.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience working with international buyers/export orders.
- Exposure to high-fashion, embellished, embroidered or value-added garments.
- Understanding of buyer quality standards and production timelines.
- Strong coordination between office, factory and vendor teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced export-house environment.
