We build AI products for education in India. Not concept products, live ones. HBA Compass runs school operations for administrators. Get Clear Answer helps Class 6–12 students understand their curriculum, with answers cited to the exact page of their textbook.

The role

You'll work directly with the founder and engineering team to design screens that go into production. No queue of tickets. You'll take a brief, design it, get feedback, and ship it.

Day-to-day work includes:

- Mobile and web screen design in Figma
- User flows and wireframes before going high-fidelity
- Interactive prototypes for usability testing
- Maintaining and extending our component library and design system
- Working with developers on handoff and implementation QA

What we're looking for





- Figma proficiency: auto-layout, components, variants, prototyping
- Understanding of mobile UX, hierarchy, spacing, and accessibility
- Ability to explain design decisions, not just present them
- Self-directed: you ask questions early and work without daily hand holding

A portfolio is required. Coursework, personal projects, and case studies all count. We care about process and thinking, not just finished screens.
