Role & responsibilities

1. Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management

- Define and execute product roadmap aligned with business objectives and evolving market trends
- Manage the complete product lifecycle: ideation, development, launch, and phase-out
- Drive localization, value engineering, and cost optimization initiatives to enhance competitiveness

2. Market & Customer Insights

- Conduct market research to identify high-growth segments and emerging customer needs
- Benchmark products against global competitors such as ABB, Siemens, and WEG
- Gather and analyze Voice of Customer (VOC) inputs and translate them into actionable product requirements

3. Commercial & Pricing Strategy

- Develop pricing strategies that ensure market competitiveness while meeting margin targets
- Support sales teams with techno-commercial proposals and product positioning
- Monitor price realization, discounting trends, and overall product profitability

4. New Product Development (NPD)

- Collaborate with R&D; and engineering teams to drive new product development initiatives
- Define product specifications based on application needs and regulatory requirements (e.g.,



IE3/IE4/IE5)
- Ensure timely and cost-effective product launches

5. Go-to-Market & Sales Enablement

- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for recent and existing products
- Create product collateral, technical documentation, and training materials
- Support key customer engagements and strategic business opportunities

6. Cross-functional Collaboration

- Work closely with sales, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, and service teams
- Ensure alignment on product availability, lead times, and quality standards
- Drive continuous improvement across the product value chain

Preferred candidate profile

- Proven experience in product management within industrial equipment (motors, drives, or related sectors)
- Strong commercial acumen with a balance of technical understanding
- Experience in managing product lifecycle and new product development
- Ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
