About the Role

We are looking for a Procurement & Purchase Coordinator with a Mechanical Engineering background and experience in the metal, steel, fabrication, manufacturing, or engineering industry.

The candidate will handle material sourcing, vendor coordination, quotation comparison, purchase orders, negotiations, and timely delivery of materials while working closely with vendors, project/site teams, and Directors.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day procurement and purchase activities.
- Source metal, steel, mechanical components, hardware, and engineering materials.
- Identify and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
- Collect, compare, and negotiate quotations, prices, and delivery terms.
- Prepare purchase orders and track deliveries.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding specifications, quality, quantity, and dispatch.
- Understand basic engineering drawings, dimensions, and material specifications.
- Coordinate with project, fabrication, production,



and site teams.
- Maintain purchase records, quotations, POs, invoices, and vendor documentation.
- Track material requirements, stock availability, and shortages.
- Provide regular procurement updates to the Directors.

Software & Technical Knowledge

- AutoCAD – Basic to Intermediate
- SolidWorks – Basic knowledge preferred
- CATIA – Basic knowledge preferred
- MS Excel / Google Sheets

Requirements

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement, purchase, sourcing, or vendor coordination.
- Experience in metal, steel, fabrication, manufacturing, or engineering industries preferred.
- Good vendor coordination, negotiation, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and engineering materials.
- Willingness to travel to vendors/sites when required.
