Role Description This is a full time, on-site Procurement Officer role based in Perambalur, Tamil Nadu.

The Procurement

Officer will manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including identifying suppliers, requesting quotations, and issuing purchase orders for goods and services required by the dairy and agriculture operations. The role involves evaluating supplier performance, negotiating contracts and pricing,



and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality and cost-efficiency.

The Procurement

Officer will collaborate with production, operations, and finance teams to forecast demand, monitor inventory levels, and align procurement plans with organizational goals. The role also includes maintaining accurate procurement records, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations, and contributing to continuous improvement of sourcing and purchasing processes.

Qualifications

Strong procurement and purchasing skills, with experience managing supplier relationships and sourcing materials or services.

Proficiency in handling purchase orders and related documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Experience in contract negotiation, including terms, pricing, and service levels, to secure favorable and compliant agreements.

Solid analytical skills for evaluating supplier performance, cost comparisons, and supporting data-driven procurement decisions.

Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management principles; experience in agriculture, dairy, or food production is an advantage.

Ability to work on-site, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
