We are looking for a hands-on Infrastructure & DevOps Lead to lead IT infrastructure, Linux systems, virtualization, cloud, Kubernetes/Docker, DevOps automation, monitoring, and infrastructure security.

The role requires robust technical expertise along with the ability to lead infrastructure operations and collaborate with Development, Product, Security, and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Linux:

- Administer and support RHEL and Ubuntu environments, including servers, services, storage, networking, availability, patching, upgrades, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Implement OS/server hardening and secure configuration standards.
- Manage Apache/Nginx, reverse proxies, SSL/TLS certificates, and application connectivity issues.

Virtualization & Data Centre:

- Manage Proxmox VE, VMware and other hypervisors.
- Provision and manage VMs, templates, storage, networking, and resource allocation.
- Monitor capacity, availability, and performance; support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, backups, and DR.

Cloud & Kubernetes:

- Manage AWS and other cloud infrastructure and production workloads.
- Manage Docker and Kubernetes, including deployments, services, ingress, namespaces, secrets, configuration, scaling, and troubleshooting.
- Implement cloud security, access control, networking, availability, and cost-management practices.

DevOps, CI/CD & Automation:

- Design and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows using Git/GitHub/GitLab.
- Implement ArgoCD/GitOps deployment practices.
- Automate infrastructure and application deployment using Terraform, Ansible/SaltStack, Bash, and Python.




- Identify and automate repetitive operational activities and maintain reusable standards.

Database Support:

- Provide infrastructure-level support for PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Monitor availability, performance, storage, and resources.
- Support backup, recovery, replication, migration, connectivity, and infrastructure-related database issues.

Monitoring & Observability:

- Implement and maintain monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana.
- Manage centralized logging using ELK Stack and/or Datadog.
- Build dashboards, alerts, metrics, and proactively identify performance, availability, capacity, and production issues.

Security:

- Implement infrastructure and server security hardening.
- Manage SSL/TLS and secure application configurations.
- Work with Sophos Firewall and Endpoint Security, including firewall rules, VPN, network access controls, and endpoint controls.
- Support vulnerability remediation, VAPT, security assessments, and compliance initiatives in coordination with Information Security.

Google Workspace:

- Support Google Workspace administration, including users, groups, security policies, access controls, organizational settings, Drive/Shared Drives, Gmail, endpoint/device management, onboarding,



and offboarding.

IT Operations & Leadership:

- Lead and mentor the infrastructure team and provide technical guidance.
- Own infrastructure incidents, changes, problems, and service requests.
- Ensure timely resolution of critical infrastructure/production issues and participate in incident management, RCA, and corrective actions.
- Maintain SOPs, documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors/service providers and provide on-call/after-hours support for critical production incidents when required.
- Drive automation, standardization, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 6–10+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Systems Administration, DevOps, Cloud, or related areas.
- 2–3+ years in a Lead, Senior Engineer, Infrastructure Lead, or DevOps Lead role.
- Strong hands-on production experience preferred over purely managerial experience.
