Role Description The Prior Authorization and Advantages Specialist is a full-time, remote role. The specialist will handle benefit verification, assess coverage details, and coordinate prior authorizations with insurance providers and related stakeholders.

Daily responsibilities include reviewing documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies, and tracking authorization statuses to support timely service delivery. The role involves communicating with customers, healthcare entities, and insurers to clarify benefits, resolve issues,



and provide accurate information. The specialist will also maintain detailed records, update internal systems, and collaborate with team members to improve processes and service quality.

Qualifications

- Strong Benefits Administration skills, including benefit verification and understanding of coverage and eligibility.
- Knowledge of Insurance processes, policy interpretation, and prior authorization workflows.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, insurers, and internal teams.
- Customer Service skills with a focus on empathy, clarity, and issue resolution.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Coimbatore Area and collaborate in a team-based environment.
- Proficiency with basic office software and willingness to learn new tools and systems.
- Prior experience in healthcare, insurance, or benefits-related roles is preferred.
