Job Title: Principal Release Train Engineer (RTE) – Multi-Vendor AI Transformation

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead the end-to-end delivery of a high-profile AI Enablement program for a major Healthcare organization .

In this role, you will act as the chief facilitator and strategic coordinator across a complex ecosystem comprising four distinct tier-1 global consultancies, system integrators, and frontier AI research labs . You will be responsible for synchronizing multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs), aligning cross-company engineering tracks, and driving the delivery of cutting-edge AI products within a heavily regulated healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Multi-Vendor & Ecosystem Orchestration

- Lead Cross-Company Syncs: Facilitate and optimize high-level scrum-of-scrums, program syncs, and alignment meetings across four major enterprise vendors and consulting partners.
- Bridge Vendor Cultures: Act as the central connective tissue between strategic consultants, systems integrators, AI technology providers, and internal healthcare stakeholders.
- Manage Complex Dependencies: Map and manage intricate technical and operational dependencies across multiple organizational boundaries to ensure seamless code and model integration.

Program Execution & Governance

- Facilitate Program Increments: Lead the Planning, Execution, and Inspect & Adapt phases for the multi-vendor AI program, ensuring all parties are aligned on product roadmaps.
- Remove Enterprise Blockers: Aggressively identify, escalate, and resolve systemic impediments, resource constraints, and cross-company bottlenecks.
- Risk Management: Mitigate delivery risks unique to multi-party contracts, data sharing agreements, and distributed engineering teams.





AI & Healthcare Delivery

- Guard Flow Quality: Ensure AI models, data pipelines, and application layers are delivered safely within a healthcare environment.
- Optimize Delivery Metrics: Establish and track unified program-level metrics to measure delivery velocity, predictability, and the business value of AI features.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience

- 7+ years of experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE), Program Manager, or Agile Practice Lead.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success managing large-scale programs ($10M+ budgets) involving multiple external vendors, tier-1 consultancies, and third-party technology providers .
- Domain Knowledge: Direct experience delivering AI/ML products , data platforms, or advanced analytics solutions.

Skills & Certifications

- Certifications: SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) is required.
- Framework Mastery: Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and scaling frameworks in a multi-contractor setting.
- Ecosystem Diplomat: Exceptional stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills to align competing vendor priorities toward a single mission.

Preferred Qualifications (The "Pluses")

- ? Generative AI Expertise: Hands-on experience scaling programs focused on Large Language Models (LLMs) , foundational model fine-tuning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI safety/alignment protocols.
- ⚕️ Healthcare Compliance: Deep understanding of HIPAA, HITRUST, and GDPR regulations regarding patient data privacy, PHI protection, and secure multi-party data sharing.
- ? Medical Governance: Familiarity with FDA guidelines for Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) , clinical validation workflows, or healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., HL7/FHIR).
