Principal Officer – Equity PMS

About the Role

At Thincredblu Securities Pvt. Ltd. is setting up a new Equity Portfolio Management Services (PMS) business vertical, and we are looking for a Principal Officer who can be part of the business from its inception and contribute to building the PMS framework and operations.

The role will primarily focus on regulatory oversight, PMS governance, coordination and ensuring compliance with applicable SEBI requirements. Investment strategy and day-to-day investment decisions will be managed by the existing investment team.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the Principal Officer for the Equity PMS business.
- Ensure the PMS business operates in accordance with applicable SEBI regulations and guidelines.
- Oversee adherence to the approved PMS policies, processes and investment mandates.
- Coordinate with the investment, compliance, operations and client-servicing teams.
- Review and monitor PMS-related processes, documentation and reporting.
- Assist in establishing the PMS framework, policies and processes as part of the new business vertical.
- Coordinate with auditors, regulators and other external stakeholders, as required.
- Support regulatory inspections, filings and other compliance requirements.
- Ensure appropriate governance and documentation of PMS activities.





Mandatory SEBI Eligibility The candidate must meet the minimum eligibility requirements prescribed by SEBI for a Principal Officer:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in securities-market activities.
- At least 2 years of such experience in portfolio management, investment advisory services or areas related to fund management.
- Professional qualification in Finance, Law, Accountancy or Business Management, or CFA Charter from CFA Institute.
- Possess the applicable NISM-Series-XXI-B: Portfolio Managers Certification Examination certification, as required under the applicable regulations.

Ideal Candidate
- Experience with a PMS, Asset Management Company, Investment Adviser, Stock Broker or other securities-market intermediary.
- Good understanding of SEBI regulations and securities-market operations.
- Robust attention to compliance, documentation and processes.
- Ability to coordinate across investment, compliance and operations teams.
- Candidates who have been involved in setting up or managing PMS operations will be preferred.
