Job Purpose To provide technical leadership and architectural direction for the Radius product, driving the design, development, modernization, performance, scalability, and long-term technical evolution of the platform. The role requires deep expertise in .NET and enterprise application development, strong understanding of ERP/business systems, and the ability to work across engineering, product, QA, support, and customer teams to deliver high-quality business solutions.

Core Responsibilities

- Provide technical leadership and architectural direction for the Radius product, ensuring solutions align with product strategy, business objectives, and long-term technology direction.
- Lead the design and development of complex product capabilities using C#, .NET 8 or above, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server.
- Define and promote scalable, maintainable, secure, and high-performance application architectures and development practices.
- Drive the modernization of the Radius platform, identifying opportunities to improve legacy components, architecture, technology stack, performance, maintainability, and developer productivity.
- Lead technical discussions and architecture reviews, evaluate alternative approaches, and make pragmatic technology and design decisions.
- Work closely with Product Owners and Product Management to understand business requirements, challenge assumptions where appropriate, identify technical implications, and translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership during story refinement, estimation, sprint planning, implementation, and delivery of complex initiatives.
- Act as a technical mentor and provide guidance to Senior Software Engineers and other developers through design reviews, code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
- Establish and promote engineering best practices around clean code, SOLID principles, design patterns, API design, testing, observability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Design and optimize data access solutions using Entity Framework Core and SQL Server, including complex queries, indexing, data modelling, transactions, and database performance optimization.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical and customer issues, leading root-cause analysis and ensuring that corrective actions address underlying problems rather than only immediate symptoms.
- Support critical customer escalations and work directly with Support, Product Owners, and customers when required to understand issues and drive effective technical solutions.




- Identify product-wide technical risks, architectural limitations, technical debt, and opportunities for improvement, and proactively drive their resolution.
- Establish appropriate unit testing, automated testing, CI/CD, and quality practices to improve product reliability and reduce regression risk.
- Contribute to the evolution of CI/CD and DevOps practices, build automation, deployment processes, and engineering productivity.
- Provide technical guidance on Docker, containerization, cloud technologies, and cloud-native application practices.
- Provide technical guidance for frontend integration and Angular-based applications where required.
- Promote effective use of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and similar technologies to improve engineering productivity, code quality, testing, debugging, documentation, and solution exploration.
- Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, tools, and development approaches and recommend their adoption where they provide measurable value to the Radius product.
- Work across teams and projects to ensure architectural consistency, reuse of common capabilities, and alignment with broader Packaging Suite technology direction.
- Participate in technical planning for major releases, modernization initiatives, customer-driven enhancements, and strategic product investments.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including architecture decisions, design specifications, API documentation, technical standards, and implementation guidelines.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement across development, testing, deployment, and support activities.
- Actively contribute to building a strong engineering culture through mentoring, knowledge sharing, technical standards, and continuous improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience And Skills

- 10–12 years of hands-on software development experience, with significant experience in enterprise application development using C#, .NET / .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET 8 or above and modern .NET application architecture and development practices.
- Extensive experience developing RESTful Web APIs, backend services, and enterprise applications using ASP.NET Core.
- Strong expertise in Entity Framework Core, including LINQ, relationships, query optimization, transactions, migrations, and efficient data access patterns.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, complex SQL queries, stored procedures, indexing, execution plans, performance tuning, and troubleshooting database-related issues.




- Proven experience designing scalable, high-performance, and maintainable enterprise application architectures.
- Strong understanding and practical application of SOLID principles, design patterns, clean architecture, API design, dependency injection, and software engineering best practices.
- Strong experience with unit testing, automated testing, testability, and quality engineering practices.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, build automation, and software delivery practices.
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications and a good understanding of container-based application architecture.
- Experience with cloud technologies and cloud-based application development is desirable.
- Experience with Angular / TypeScript or modern frontend technologies is a plus.
- Experience working with ERP, manufacturing, business management, or other complex enterprise applications is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in technical leadership and architecture, with the ability to influence technical decisions across teams.
- Proven ability to analyze complex technical problems, identify root causes, evaluate alternatives, and drive solutions through to completion.
- Strong experience in application, API, and database performance optimization.
- Experience working with large and/or complex legacy codebases and leading modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles, distributed systems, integration patterns, reliability, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Ability to assess technical debt and establish pragmatic strategies for balancing new feature development, modernization, stability, and technical debt reduction.
- Proficiency in using AI-assisted development tools effectively for coding, code analysis, debugging, testing, documentation, and technical problem solving.
- Ability to quickly understand complex business domains and translate business requirements into robust technical architectures and solutions.
- Solid ownership and leadership mindset, with the ability to work independently and take accountability for technically complex initiatives.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively without relying solely on formal authority.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to developers, Product Owners, management, Support teams, and customers.
- Ability to balance business priorities, delivery timelines, technical quality, scalability, maintainability, and long-term product strategy.
