Principal Associate Architect Business, Sales & Technical Design

Reporting to: Founder & CEO

Role Level: Senior Leadership

Role Purpose To lead ANANTË’s business development, sales and Technical Design Department. The role combines client acquisition, commercial leadership, technical design excellence and team management.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate recent business opportunities across architecture, interiors and turnkey projects.
- Lead client meetings, presentations, proposals, negotiations and project closures.
- Build relationships with developers, business owners, consultants and referral partners.
- Ensure a structured handover from sales to design and execution teams.
- Lead architects and designers, including work allocation, mentoring and performance reviews.
- Review architectural layouts, working drawings, specifications and technical details.
- Ensure coordination between architecture, interiors, structure, MEP and execution teams.
- Maintain design quality, technical accuracy, timelines and project profitability.
- Handle important client concerns and technical escalations.
- Strengthen design SOPs, review systems and quality-control processes.




- Support the Founder in achieving ANANTË’s revenue and growth objectives.

- Monthly and quarterly business secured
- Proposal-to-project conversion rate
- Average project value and profitability
- Timely completion of design milestones
- Reduction in drawing errors and site rework
- Client satisfaction and referral rate
- Number and severity of escalations
- Design-team productivity and performance
- Quality of coordination between design and execution

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- Council of Architecture registration
- 15–20 years of relevant experience
- Strong experience in business development and client acquisition
- Excellent technical knowledge of architecture and construction
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary design teams
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
