Primary Academic Coordinator – Thane

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Primary Academic Coordinator to support the Headmistress in managing academic activities for the primary section of a reputed school in Thane, Maharashtra.

The role is suitable for an experienced primary teacher who is ready to take on academic coordination, teacher support, curriculum planning, and school-level responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate day-to-day academic activities for the Primary Section
- Work closely with the Headmistress on academic planning and implementation
- Support and coordinate primary teachers
- Monitor lesson plans, classroom activities, assessments, and academic progress
- Assist teachers with curriculum planning and teaching resources
- Conduct classroom observations and provide academic feedback
- Track student performance and support improvement initiatives
- Coordinate assessments, examinations, school activities, and academic events
- Communicate with teachers and management regarding academic matters
- Support parent communication and resolve routine academic concerns
- Maintain academic records and reports




- Assist the Headmistress with day-to-day academic coordination and school operations

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a relevant subject
- Minimum 3 years of primary teaching experience is mandatory
- Previous experience as a Primary Coordinator / Academic Coordinator / Senior Teacher is preferred
- Strong understanding of primary education, curriculum, and classroom management
- Positive teacher coordination and communication skills
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
- Marathi proficiency is mandatory
- Good English communication skills
- Comfortable working full-time, on-site in Thane

Preferred
- Experience in a CBSE, ICSE, or reputed school
- Experience coordinating primary teachers or academic activities
- Candidates based in Thane or nearby areas
- Immediate joiners or short-notice candidates preferred

Pay: Up to ₹70,000.00 per month
