Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Specialist Export to join our freight forwarding team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive pricing for export shipments (Air & Ocean), coordinating with carriers and overseas agents, and supporting the sales and operations teams in achieving successful quote conversions.

This is a full-time in office role as a Pricing Specialist - Export located in BHANDUP Mumbai. The Pricing Specialist will be responsible for handling day-to-day pricing activities related to export shipments, ensuring competitive and accurate pricing strategies. The role involves collaborating with the sales and finance teams to develop pricing models, providing excellent customer service, and maximizing sales opportunities through strategic pricing decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze client requirements and prepare competitive export freight quotes (FCL/LCL, Air Freight).
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, and overseas agents for rates and service schedules.
- Maintain pricing databases and track market trends for rate fluctuations.




- Support sales and business development teams with timely and accurate pricing.
- Ensure quotes comply with destination country regulations and Incoterms.
- Handle rate negotiations with vendors/carriers to optimize profitability.
- Follow up on submitted quotes and assist in quote-to-booking conversion.
- Update CRM and internal systems with pricing, follow-up status, and client feedback.
- Prepare cost sheets, margin analysis, and competitor benchmarking.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

- 4-9 years of experience in export pricing or freight forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of export logistics, ocean and air freight rates, and Incoterms.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, freight software.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- Ability to multitask and work under time-sensitive deadlines.
- Experience coordinating with shipping lines, airlines, and international agents.

Qualifications
