Job Summary

The Production Planning & Control (PPC) professional is responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring production activities to ensure timely delivery, optimal resource utilization, and cost efficiency. The role involves coordinating with multiple departments such as procurement, manufacturing, quality, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement production plans based on sales forecasts and customer orders
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as required
- Maintain inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock
- Track production KPIs such as output, efficiency, and downtime
- Coordinate with quality team to ensure compliance with standards
- Prepare MIS reports and production reports for management




- Identify process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs
- Handle production-related issues and ensure timely resolution
- Knowledge in capacity planning and BOM, BOO – Preparation

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Production / Industrial / Mechanical or related field
- Relevant experience in production planning and control (3-5 years depending on role level)

Key Skills

- Strong knowledge of production planning and scheduling
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- Knowledge of inventory control and supply chain processes
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills (Optional)

- Experience in manufacturing / pharmaceutical / engineering industries
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills

Pay: Up to ₹26,000.00 per month
