Power System Engineer

Location - Bangalore

Experience - 2 to 12 years

Education

- BE / B.Tech only
- Relevant engineering specialization in Electrical / Power Systems preferred.

Key Technical & Domain Skills Candidates should have robust experience in:

- Power System Engineering
- Network Planning
- Transmission & Distribution
- Utilities
- Renewable Energy Solar, Wind and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Power Quality and Harmonics
- RMS and EMT Studies
- Protection & Relay Coordination
- IEC and IEEE Standards
- Power System Modelling and Analysis

Mandatory Tools

- PowerSafety
- PSS®E (PSSE)
- ETAP

Experience with Power Factory and other relevant power-system simulation tools is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform power system studies for transmission, distribution, utility and renewable energy projects.
- Conduct load flow, short-circuit, contingency, stability and other network planning studies.
- Perform RMS and EMT-based system studies as required.
- Analyze power quality, harmonics and system performance.




- Carry out protection and relay coordination studies.
- Develop and validate power system models using industry-standard simulation tools.
- Apply relevant IEC and IEEE standards to engineering studies and design activities.
- Support integration studies for solar, wind and battery storage projects.
- Prepare technical reports, study documentation and engineering deliverables.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues and deliver projects within timelines.

Notice Period

- Candidates with a notice period of up to 60 days are preferred.
