POSH Trainer

Location: Pune / Pan-India

Employment Type: Full-Time / Consultant / Part-Time – depending on engagement

Spherule Foundation is a social-impact organisation working across multiple thematic areas including education, healthcare, women empowerment, livelihoods, skill development, digital literacy, environment and community development.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive and respectful workplace, we are looking for a POSH Trainer who can lead employee awareness programmes, Internal Committee orientation and workplace-sensitivity sessions.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct POSH awareness and sensitisation sessions for employees across different levels and functions.
- Conduct orientation and capacity-building sessions for Internal Committee (IC) members.
- Explain the provisions and practical application of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 in a simple and practical manner.
- Develop and deliver engaging training modules, presentations, case studies and scenario-based activities.
- Conduct sessions on:
- Understanding sexual harassment at the workplace
- Appropriate and inappropriate workplace behaviour
- Prevention and reporting mechanisms
- Roles and responsibilities of employees
- Internal Committee structure and responsibilities
- Complaint and inquiry process
- Confidentiality and non-retaliation
- Workplace dignity,



respect and inclusion
- Facilitate Q&A; and interactive discussions during training sessions.
- Conduct refresher and periodic awareness sessions as required.
- Support the organisation in strengthening its workplace ethics and POSH awareness framework.
- Provide training feedback, attendance records and session reports to HR/management.
- Keep training content updated in line with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Where required, coordinate with HR and the Internal Committee for awareness initiatives and capacity-building programmes.
- Maintain strict confidentiality while discussing sensitive workplace scenarios or case-based learning.

Desired Skills & Competencies
- Solid knowledge of the POSH Act, 2013 and applicable rules.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Ability to communicate legal and compliance concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable conducting sessions for employees at different levels and backgrounds.
- Good understanding of workplace ethics, gender sensitivity and professional conduct.
- Ability to handle sensitive questions and discussions with maturity and neutrality.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.





Qualifications Candidates with any of the following backgrounds may be considered:
- Law / Legal Studies
- Human Resources / Personnel Management
- Social Work / Gender Studies
- Psychology / Behavioural Sciences
- Compliance / Corporate Ethics
- Other relevant professional qualifications

Relevant POSH certification or recognised training in workplace sexual-harassment prevention and compliance will be an advantage.

Experience

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in POSH training, workplace ethics, HR compliance, legal compliance or related areas.
- Prior experience conducting POSH awareness programmes and IC training will be preferred.
- Experience working with NGOs, corporates, educational institutions or other multi-location organisations will be an advantage.

What We Are Looking For We are looking for a professional who can create an environment where employees feel comfortable understanding, discussing and following workplace-safety and POSH guidelines.

The ideal candidate should be professional, approachable, unbiased, sensitive and confident in handling difficult or sensitive conversations.

Engagement The role may involve conducting sessions for Spherule Foundation employees across locations, including virtual and/or in-person training programmes, depending on organisational requirements.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
