Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain database applications using Oracle PL/SQL. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in database development, performance tuning, and data analysis while working closely with business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.

- Design and optimize complex SQL queries for high performance.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Perform database performance tuning and query optimization.

- Develop ETL processes and data migration scripts.

- Create and maintain database objects, indexes, and constraints.

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams.

- Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities.

Required Skills





- Strong experience in Oracle Database and PL/SQL development.

- Expertise in SQL query writing and optimization.

- Experience with Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, Triggers, and Cursors.

- Knowledge of Performance Tuning, Execution Plans, and Indexing.

- Understanding of Data Modeling and Database Design.

- Experience with ETL/Data Migration processes.

- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.

- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Oracle Forms/Reports, APEX, or SQL Developer.

- Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting.

- Exposure to banking, insurance, retail, or finance domains.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Oracle certifications are an added advantage.
