Smint TiqPvt Ltd, a water distribution and monitoring company, is looking for a hands-on ABB PLC Programmer to join our technical team. This role blends PLC/HMI programming with field-level site assessment, panel assembly, and installation supervision — perfect for someone equally confident on-site and behind a control panel.

Key Resp onsibilities

Program and commission ABB PLC systems for water distribution and monitoring projectsHands-on programming of HMI systemsConduct s ite visits and surveys across multiple locations/houses to assess project scopePrepare B ill of Quantities (BOQ) based on site survey findingsAssess el ectrical and mechanical equipment in office and recommend compatible products for procurementAssemble panels based on circuit diagrams provided by the technical teamCommissio n flow meters, water meters, flow control valves, and sensorsSupervise installation and commissioning of RTU panels at sites,



mostly across Tamil NaduTravel to different cities/states as required for project implementation and site work

Required

Skills & Experience:

✅ Hands-on experience with ABB PLC programming

✅ Hands-on experience in HMI programming

✅ Experience preparing BOQs following site visits

✅ Ability to independently survey sites and translate findings into accurate BOQs

✅ Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical equipment compatibility and selection

✅ Skilled in panel assembly based on circuit diagrams

✅ Experience commissioning flow meters, water meters, flow control valves, and sensors

✅ Experience supervising RTU panel installation and commissioning

✅ Willingness to travel extensively across India for site visits and project rollouts
