Key Responsibilities – Plant Operations
Manage and supervise day-to-day plant operations to ensure safe, efficient and uninterrupted production.
Plan production activities in coordination with management and relevant departments. Monitor production processes, plant performance, output, yield and operational efficiency.
Ensure proper handling, storage and processing of raw materials, chemicals and finished products.
Monitor operating parameters and ensure processes are carried out as per approved procedures and standards.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime and resolve operational issues.
Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery and plant resources.
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions. Maintain production records, operational reports and relevant plant documentation. Coordinate with procurement, stores, quality, maintenance and management teams for smooth plant functioning.
Key Responsibilities – Laboratory & Quality
Supervise laboratory activities related to testing and quality control of raw materials, in-process materials and finished products.
Ensure laboratory testing is performed accurately and according to approved methods and specifications.
Review laboratory test reports and ensure proper documentation of results.
Monitor product quality parameters and investigate deviations or out-of-specification results.
Coordinate with production teams to address quality-related process issues.
Ensure proper calibration, maintenance and safe operation of laboratory instruments and equipment.
Maintain laboratory records, test reports, samples and quality documentation.
Support development and improvement of testing procedures and quality-control practices.
Ensure proper handling, labeling, storage and disposal of chemicals and laboratory materials.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5–7 years of relevant professional experience.
Prior experience in a petrochemical, chemical manufacturing, refinery, oil & gas, solvents or allied chemical industry is strongly preferred.
Degree/Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Petrochemical Engineering or a related field is highly preferred.
Strong practical understanding of plant operations, chemical processes and laboratory/quality-control activities.
Good knowledge of chemical safety, handling procedures and industrial safety practices. Solid leadership, team-management and problem-solving skills.
Good documentation, reporting and communication skills.
Ability to work under operational pressure and take timely decisions.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
