Position: Plant Head – Manufacturing Operations

Job Summary The Plant Head will be responsible for leading end-to-end plant operations including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Dispatch. The role involves ensuring efficient manufacturing operations with a strong focus on productivity, cost control, quality output, and timely delivery of HVAC components and sub-assemblies.

The role also requires active involvement in business growth by ensuring operational readiness, process improvement, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead overall plant operations including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Dispatch
- Achieve production targets with focus on quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) performance
- Drive productivity improvement and operational efficiency across all functions
- Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure optimal manpower planning and effective shop floor management
- Monitor daily plant performance through MIS, dashboards, and operational KPIs
- Ensure smooth coordination between production, planning, procurement, and dispatch teams
- Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and statutory compliance standards
- Drive cost reduction initiatives across materials, manpower, and processes
- Ensure smooth execution of customer requirements and delivery schedules
- Lead problem-solving initiatives for production bottlenecks and quality issues





Technical Requirements

- Strong experience in HVAC / Air Conditioning / Refrigeration / White Goods manufacturing
- Hands-on knowledge of:
- Sheet metal processing
- Copper tubing and brazing
- Assembly line operations
- HVAC sub-assemblies manufacturing
- Strong understanding of production planning and control (PPC)
- Knowledge of quality systems, process improvement, and lean manufacturing tools
- Experience with ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred

Experience & Qualification

- Minimum 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations
- Prior experience in HVAC / AC / White Goods manufacturing industry is mandatory
- Experience as Plant Head / Operations Head / Senior Manufacturing Leadership preferred
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification

Pay: ₹125,000.00 - ₹130,000.00 per month
