Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer with strong expertise in project planning and scheduling for Industrial and Construction Projects. The candidate should have hands-on experience in MS Project (MSP) and be capable of independently managing project schedules, monitoring progress, forecasting, and preparing project reports.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, review, and update Project Master Schedules, Tender Schedules, Construction Schedules, and Recovery Schedules using MS Project (MSP).
- Monitor project progress against planned schedules and identify delays, risks, and critical activities.
- Prepare project status reports, progress reports, forecasts, and project delivery plans.
- Review construction drawings and identify opportunities for value engineering and improved project execution.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC, and other functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Track project milestones, critical paths, dependencies, and overall project performance.
- Provide planning inputs and support project teams in achieving project targets.




- Maintain accurate project planning and documentation using MS Office and MS Project.
- Work independently in a planning role and effectively coordinate with multi-functional teams.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in Planning / Project Planning.
- BE / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of independent experience in a Planning Engineer role.
- Must have experience in at least one Industrial Project, along with other construction projects.
- Solid hands-on experience with MS Project (MSP).
- Good knowledge of construction project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Result-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a multi-functional team.
- Experience with PMC (Project Management Consultancy) organisations will be an added advantage.
