About the Role

We are looking for a Planning & Billing Engineer with strong experience in railway/infrastructure projects to manage project planning, progress monitoring, quantity measurement, client billing, subcontractor billing, and project documentation.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in railway projects and be comfortable coordinating with site teams, contractors, consultants, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules, work programs, and progress plans.
- Monitor actual project progress against planned schedules and identify delays or deviations.
- Prepare Daily, Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports (DPR/WPR/MPR).
- Prepare client RA bills, interim bills, final bills, and subcontractor bills.
- Verify quantities based on BOQ, drawings, measurements, and actual site execution.
- Prepare Measurement Sheets / Measurement Books (MB) and maintain billing records.
- Coordinate with site engineers, planning teams, contractors, consultants, and clients for measurements and bill certification.
- Track BOQ quantities, variations, extra items, and deviations.
- Prepare and maintain quantity reconciliation statements.
- Assist in preparation of rate analysis, variation statements, and additional-item claims.
- Monitor material and manpower requirements in line with project schedules.
- Identify project delays and support preparation of catch-up/recovery plans.
- Maintain project documentation, approvals, work orders, and billing records.




- Coordinate with commercial and project teams for timely bill submission and certification.
- Support management with project cost, progress, and billing MIS.
- Ensure billing is prepared accurately and submitted within agreed timelines.

Mandatory Requirements / Deal Breakers
- Mandatory railway project experience – candidates must have hands-on experience in railway/infrastructure projects.
- Experience in client billing, RA billing, measurement, BOQ and quantity verification.
- Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling and progress monitoring.
- Experience working with contractors, consultants and client representatives on infrastructure projects.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in Indian Railways / Metro / Railway Civil Works / Rail Infrastructure.
- Experience with EPC / turnkey infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of MS Project, Primavera P6 and AutoCAD.
- Experience with rate analysis, variations, claims and reconciliation.
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Experience with government/infrastructure billing and documentation.

Ideal Candidate Profile A Civil Engineer who has worked on railway/metro infrastructure projects and understands both sides of the role — planning project execution and managing accurate project billing. The candidate should be robust in site coordination, measurements, documentation, and client/subcontractor billing.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,554.32 per month
