About The Role

This is a full time remote role for a PHP Developer at Suitepedia. The PHP Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining back-end services and APIs that power Suitepedia’s content and learning platform. The role requires writing clean, efficient PHP code, integrating third-party services, and optimizing database interactions to ensure high performance and scalability.

The developer will collaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless data flow and user experience. Participation in code reviews, documentation, and adherence to technical best practices are essential components of this role. Additionally, the PHP Developer will troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements based on user feedback, and support ongoing improvements to Suitepedia’s technical ecosystem, ensuring the platform remains reliable, secure, and innovative.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Programming, with a focus on PHP and server-side logic.
- Candidates should possess solid Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Software Development skills, including design patterns and clean code practices.




- Candidates should possess foundational Front-End Development skills to collaborate effectively on integrations and user-facing features.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL or PostgreSQL), version control (Git), and RESTful API development is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with NetSuite, SuiteScript, or ERP systems is a plus, as well as experience working in remote, distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience, along with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
