Pharmacist / Pharmacy Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and customer-focused Pharmacists and Pharmacy Assistants to join our pharmacy team in Chennai. The ideal candidates will support daily pharmacy operations, ensure accurate medication dispensing, maintain inventory, and provide excellent customer service while adhering to healthcare and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispense prescription medicines accurately under applicable regulations.
- Assist customers with medicines, healthcare products, and general inquiries.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, storage, and precautions (Pharmacist role).
- Receive, stock, organize, and replenish pharmacy inventory.
- Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and product quality.
- Handle billing, cash, and digital payment transactions.
- Maintain pharmacy records, documentation, and patient confidentiality.
- Coordinate with doctors and healthcare providers when required.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with pharmacy standards.
- Assist with procurement, receiving, and unpacking medicine deliveries.





Qualifications For Pharmacist

- D.Pharm or B.Pharm.
- Valid registration with the Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council.

For Pharmacy Assistant

- Higher Secondary (12th Pass), Diploma, or Graduate.
- Prior pharmacy or retail healthcare experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
- 0 to 5 years of experience in retail pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, or medical stores.

Required Skills
- Good communication skills in Tamil and basic English.
- Robust customer service orientation.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer and billing software knowledge.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare products and medicines is an advantage.

Salary
- Pharmacist: ₹18,000 - ₹28000 per month.
- Pharmacy Assistant: ₹12,000 - ₹18000 per month.
- Salary will be based on qualifications and experience.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
