Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PGT Commerce role based in the Pune Division. The educator will plan and deliver engaging Commerce lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives for higher grades. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting classroom teaching, assessing student performance, and providing timely feedback and academic support.

The role also involves maintaining classroom discipline, integrating practical and digital learning tools, and guiding students in projects, assignments, and exam preparation. The PGT Commerce faculty member will collaborate with colleagues, participate in school events,



attend professional development programs, and communicate regularly with parents/guardians to support student progress.

Qualifications

- Strong Commerce subject knowledge with the ability to teach senior secondary classes effectively.
- Excellent analytical skills to explain complex concepts, interpret data, and support problem-solving in commerce-related topics.
- Clear and confident communication skills for classroom instruction, student guidance, and interaction with parents and colleagues.
- Customer service orientation and relationship-building abilities to support student needs and maintain positive stakeholder engagement.
- Basic understanding of sales and business practices to connect theoretical commerce concepts with real-world applications.
- Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com) or related field; B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Prior experience teaching Commerce at the senior secondary level in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with digital teaching tools, online resources, and MS Office or similar platforms.
- Ability to create inclusive, learner-centered classrooms and support diverse learning styles.
