Role Title: PCB Design Engineer

Role Overview - Looking for a PCB Design Engineer with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in schematic capture, multi-layer PCB layout, component library creation, and manufacturing preparation. The candidate will work closely with hardware engineers to deliver compliant, high-reliability board designs from concept through fabrication and assembly support.

Key Responsibilities

- Schematic & Layout Design:
- Design multi-layer rigid (and flex/rigid-flex, if applicable) printed circuit boards (typically 4 to 10+ layers).
- Translate schematics, netlists, and mechanical constraints into board layouts.
- Route mixed-signal, analog, digital, and power distribution circuits.
- Implement high-speed design techniques, including controlled impedance (50ohm single-ended, 8590100 120ohm differential pairs), length/delay matching, and return-path management.
- Component Library Management:
- Build and maintain schematic symbols and PCB land patterns following industry guidelines (IPC-7351 Level A/B/C).
- DFM / DFA / DFT & Manufacturing Support:




- Execute comprehensive Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Test (DFT) rule checks.
- Generate complete fabrication packages: ODB++, Gerber (RS-274X), NC drill files, IPC-D-356 netlists, pick-and-place files, and assembly/fabrication drawings.
- Design Verification & Compliance:
- Perform pre-layout planning, layer stackup configuration, and post-layout Design Rule Checks (DRC).
- Apply IPC standards (e.g., IPC-2221, IPC-7351, IPC-A-600/610) for spacing, annular ring integrity, and copper distribution.

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications

- Experience: 2 to 3 years of qualified experience in electronic CAD design.
- EDA Tool Proficiency:
- Demonstrated proficiency in industry-standard CAD tools such as Altium Designer and Cadence OrCAD/Allegro is the add on advantage.
