Payroll & Compliance – Manager / Senior Executive

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Payroll & Compliance professional with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in managing end-to-end payroll, statutory compliances, labour laws, and employee-related statutory matters. Candidates with experience in the Facility Management / Service Industry will be preferred.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of PF, ESIC, PT, MLWF, Gratuity, Leave Encashment, Minimum Wages, Wage Code and other applicable labour compliances, along with the ability to independently handle statutory notices, inspections, and compliance cases.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees across multiple locations/sites.
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance under:
- Provident Fund (PF)
- ESIC
- Qualified Tax (PT)
- Maharashtra Labour Welfare Fund (MLWF)
- Gratuity
- Leave Encashment
- Bonus and other applicable statutory requirements
- Maintain complete and accurate statutory records, registers, challans, returns and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Minimum Wages, wage revisions and changes in statutory rates.
- Stay updated on changes in labour laws, wage regulations and statutory compliance requirements.
- Possess practical knowledge of the new Labour Codes / Wage Code and their implications for payroll and compliance.
- Monitor employee salary structures and ensure payroll is aligned with applicable statutory requirements.
- Handle statutory audits, inspections and labour department requirements.
- Independently handle and respond to PF, ESIC, PT, Labour Department and other statutory notices.
- Coordinate with consultants, government authorities and internal stakeholders for statutory matters.




- Handle compliance cases, queries, assessments and departmental correspondence.
- Ensure compliance across multiple client locations/sites, particularly in a facility management / manpower-intensive service environment.
- Prepare periodic MIS and compliance reports for management.
- Ensure timely payment of statutory dues and submission of returns within prescribed timelines.
- Maintain proper employee documentation and support internal/external audits.
- Provide guidance to HR and operations teams on statutory and payroll-related matters.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5–7 years of relevant experience in Payroll & Statutory Compliance.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of PF, ESIC, PT, MLWF, Gratuity, Leave Encashment and Minimum Wages.
- Practical understanding of labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Knowledge of new Labour Codes / Wage Code and recent changes in wage-related regulations.
- Experience in handling statutory notices, inspections, cases and departmental correspondence.
- Strong understanding of payroll calculations and statutory deductions.
- Experience managing payroll/compliance for a large employee workforce or multi-location setup will be an advantage.
- Facility Management / Security / Housekeeping / Manpower-intensive Service Industry experience preferred.
- Good communication, documentation and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of statutory compliance matters.

- Candidates who can join within 10–15 days will be preferred.
- Candidates currently working in Facility Management / Service Industry will have an added advantage.

Education Graduate / Post Graduate in HR, Labour Laws, Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.

Additional certification in Payroll / Labour Law / Statutory Compliance will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
