The Role

We are seeking an entrepreneurial leader to build and lead our Sports Advisory Practice from the ground up.

This is a unique opportunity to create a market-leading consulting business serving sports leagues, professional franchises, federations, investors, governments, and sports technology companies.

The successful candidate will shape the practice's strategy, build client relationships, recruit a high-performing team, and deliver board-level consulting engagements.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and lead Cedar's Sports Advisory Practice
- Develop relationships with CEOs, franchise owners, league executives, federations, investors, and government stakeholders
- Originate and lead consulting engagements across strategy, commercial growth,



marketing strategy, digital transformation, governance, organization design, and performance management
- Build a team of consultants and industry specialists
- Develop thought leadership and represent Cedar at major industry events
- Achieve ambitious revenue and profitability targets while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction

Ideal Candidate

- 15 years of experience in sports business, consulting, commercial strategy, or transformation
- Experience in a leadership role within a major sports organization, consulting firm, media company, or sports commercial agency.
- Candidates with International Experience, or International Candidates are also welcome to apply.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of winning and leading consulting or advisory engagements
- Outstanding executive communication and presentation skills
- Existing relationships across the Indian sports ecosystem
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred
