Qualification for Paediatric Physiotherapist:

Relevant degree and certification in Physiotherapy.

Valid registration with the respective regulatory body.

Responsibilities:

- Develop a comprehensive, client-centered care plan utilizing both standardized and non-standardized evaluation methods.
- Utilize evidence from research and relevant resources to inform intervention decisions effectively.
- Engage in individualized, occupation-based treatment approaches during 1:1 client session, fostering motivation and challenging clients to achieve established goals supporting targeted outcomes.
- Regularly collect data and make decisions based on empirical evidence to enhance the quality of interventions.
- Collaborate seamlessly within a team setting, prioritizing the developmental needs of clients.
- Adapt activities or treatment methods based on client requirements to optimize success and engagement.
- Demonstrate clear and effective communication with clients, caregivers, families, colleagues, and other providers (ST, DT, PT, OT etc.) to ensure a cohesive and holistic therapeutic approach.
- Work collaboratively with parents to maximize carryover, assisting them in developing and maintaining effective, achievable home programs.




- Timely completion of evaluations and daily notes after each session.
- Provide coverage for missed sessions on weekends if required.
- Facilitate and participate in parent meetings to provide updates on PT/OT goals.
- Lead and conduct PT/OT training sessions for center staff.
- Provide specific team training aligned with the child’s programs for the quarter/year.

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Exceptional supervisory skills.
- In-depth knowledge of paediatric physiotherapy/occupational therapy.
- Ability to interpret data effectively for setting and achieving client goals.
- Outstanding organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
