Essence Early Intervention & Development Centre is an early intervention and child development centre in Gunjur, Bengaluru, providing multidisciplinary therapy and developmental support for children with developmental delays, autism, sensory processing difficulties and other special needs.

Position: Occupational Therapist / Physiotherapist with OT ExperienceLocation: Gunjur, BengaluruEmployment Type: Full-time

We are looking for

- BOT / MOT (Occupational Therapy) candidates.
- BPT / MPT candidates with relevant hands-on experience in Occupational Therapy may also be considered.
- Freshers with good clinical knowledge and a willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with experience working with children with autism, developmental delay, sensory processing difficulties, ADHD, cerebral palsy, etc. will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual occupational therapy sessions for children.
- Assess children’s sensory, motor, functional and developmental needs.
- Plan and implement individualized therapy goals and intervention programs.
- Work on fine motor skills, gross motor skills, sensory processing, motor planning, coordination, attention and activities of daily living.
- Maintain session notes, progress records and therapy documentation.




- Communicate appropriately with parents regarding the child’s progress and home-based strategies.
- Coordinate with Special Educators, Behaviour Therapists, Speech Therapists and other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in case discussions, assessments and treatment planning.
- Maintain a child-friendly, safe and professional therapy environment.

Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy (BOT/MOT) or Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT with relevant OT experience).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and a genuine interest in working with children.
- Ability to independently conduct therapy sessions and follow individualized treatment plans.
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Prior pediatric therapy experience is an advantage.
