Job Summary

We are seeking a Packaging Engineer to support the design, operation, optimization, and continuous improvement of our brewery packaging processes. The successful candidate will work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and packaging suppliers to ensure efficient, reliable, and cost-effective packaging operations.

The role will focus on canning, bottling, labeling, secondary packaging, palletizing, packaging materials, equipment performance, and new package development.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and optimize brewery packaging processes, including canning, bottling, labeling, case packing, and palletizing.
- Improve packaging line efficiency, throughput, reliability, and OEE.
- Troubleshoot packaging equipment and process issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain packaging specifications, drawings, BOMs, SOPs, and technical documentation.
- Evaluate and optimize cans, bottles, closures, labels, cartons, trays, cases, shrink film, and other packaging materials.
- Lead packaging trials for new products, package formats, materials, and equipment.




- Work with Production and Maintenance teams to identify and resolve recurring packaging line problems.
- Partner with packaging suppliers to improve material quality, performance, and cost.
- Monitor and reduce packaging waste, product damage, downtime, and material consumption.
- Conduct packaging performance and transportation testing to ensure product protection during distribution.
- Support new product launches, packaging changes, equipment upgrades, and line installations.
- Analyze production and quality data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support cost-reduction initiatives through packaging optimization, material lightweighting, and process improvements.
- Ensure packaging processes meet company quality, food safety, regulatory, and sustainability requirements.
- Maintain a safe working workplace and ensure compliance with brewery safety procedures.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
