:

The Packaging Development Executive will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing packaging solutions for hygiene products, ensuring product safety, cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and alignment with brand standards.

Job Responsibility:

Packaging Development & Design:

 Develop innovative and functional packaging for hygiene products (e.g., diapers, sanitary napkins, wipes, etc.).

 Work on primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging design.

 Conduct trials for new packaging materials and formats.

Material Selection & Optimization:

 Identify and evaluate suitable packaging materials (plastic films, laminates, cartons, etc.).

 Optimize packaging for cost reduction without compromising quality.

 Ensure compatibility of packaging materials with product characteristics.

Vendor Coordination:

 Coordinate with packaging material suppliers for development, sampling, and approvals.

 Evaluate vendor capabilities and maintain quality standards.

 Negotiate cost and ensure timely procurement of packaging materials.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

 Conduct packaging performance tests (drop test, seal strength, shelf life, etc.).

 Ensure packaging meets internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.

 Troubleshoot packaging-related issues during production.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

 Collaborate with Production, QA, Procurement, and Marketing teams.





 Support new product development (NPD) initiatives.

 Ensure packaging readiness for product launches.

Documentation & Compliance:

 Maintain packaging specifications, BOMs, and technical documents.

 Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (FSSAI, ISO, etc., as applicable).

 Update ERP systems (e.g., MS Business Central) with packaging data

Cost Control & Sustainability:

 Identify opportunities for cost saving and packaging efficiency.

 Work on sustainable and eco-friendly packaging initiatives.

 Reduce material wastage and improve packaging productivity

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

 Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Technology / Polymer / Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or related field.

 Experience: 5–7 years in packaging development, preferably in FMCG or hygiene products industry

 Robust knowledge of packaging materials and technologies.

 Experience in packaging trials and testing methods

 Proficiency in ERP systems and other relevant software.

 Good understanding of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.

 Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
