- Prepare the Operation Theatre before surgeries and ensure all required instruments and equipment are available.
- Assist surgeons and anesthetists during surgical procedures.
- Handle, arrange, and maintain surgical instruments and OT equipment.
- Ensure proper sterilization and disinfection of instruments and OT areas.
- Follow infection-control and safety protocols at all times.
- Check and maintain OT consumables, instruments, and equipment.
- Assist with patient positioning and preparation before procedures.
- Coordinate with nursing, anesthesia, and surgical teams during operations.
- Maintain OT records, checklists, and documentation.
- Ensure proper cleaning and turnover of the OT after each procedure.
- Report any equipment malfunction, shortage, or other OT-related issues to the concerned supervisor.
- Follow hospital policies and maintain professional conduct.
Skills Required
- Valuable knowledge of surgical instruments and OT procedures.
- Knowledge of sterilization and infection-control practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work rotational shifts, including emergency procedures.
Pay: ₹20,664.63 - ₹40,687.43 per month
