We are looking for a motivated Junior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Oracle Database development, PL/SQL programming, and Oracle Forms. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting database-driven applications while working closely with senior developers, business analysts, and QA teams.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to build expertise in Oracle technologies, database performance tuning, and enterprise application development.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
- Support and enhance applications developed using Oracle Forms and GUI components.
- Write productive SQL queries and database scripts to meet business requirements.
- Assist in the design and maintenance of database schemas, tables, indexes, and data models.
- Perform data validation, data migration, and data correction activities as required.
- Monitor database performance and assist in troubleshooting performance issues.
- Analyze execution plans and support query optimization efforts.
- Review and understand AWR (Automatic Workload Repository) Reports under the guidance of senior developers.
- Participate in application testing, defect resolution, and production support activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow coding standards and best practices.





Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

- Experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Database 12c/19c or higher.
- Experience with:
- Oracle PL/SQL
- Oracle Forms
- SQL Development
- Database Scripting
- GUI/Application Development
- Basic understanding of:
- Database Design and Data Modeling
- Indexes and Query Optimization
- Performance Monitoring Concepts
- Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, and Triggers
- Ability to read and understand AWR Reports and database performance metrics.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Oracle Reports.
- Basic Shell Scripting experience.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Oracle Database or PL/SQL certification is a plus.
