Job Summary

Kannur Medical College is seeking a qualified Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye-care services, conduct vision assessments, and support ophthalmologists in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive eye and vision examinations.
- Assess visual acuity, refractive errors, and binocular vision.
- Perform refraction and prescribe spectacles/contact lenses as appropriate.
- Assist ophthalmologists during examinations and procedures.
- Identify and refer patients with eye conditions requiring specialist care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Educate patients on eye care, hygiene,



and preventive measures.
- Handle and maintain optometry equipment properly.

Qualification
- B.Sc. Optometry / B.Optom from a recognized institution.
- Valuable communication and patient-handling skills.
- Freshers may apply; relevant experience will be an advantage.
