About EcoLivingEcoLiving is building Green Living Spaces by transforming balconies, terraces, rooftops, gardens and outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional and sustainable environments.

We are looking for a high-energy, execution-focused Operations Head who can take complete ownership of our landscape operations and build a world-class execution engine.

This is not a conventional 9-to-5 corporate role.

This is a high-ownership, high-intensity startup role for someone who enjoys being on the ground, solving problems, managing people and getting projects delivered.

Role OverviewYou will own the complete operational lifecycle of landscape projects:

Sales Handover → Site Survey → Design Coordination → BOQ → Procurement → Manpower Planning → Execution → Quality Control → Handover → Maintenance

You will work directly with the founders and leadership team of Scenic Developers and will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

The role will involve managing a large field organisation of 300+ gardeners, supervisors and execution staff.

If you are looking strictly for a 9-to-5 job, this role is not for you. Key Responsibilities1. End-to-End Project Ownership

- Take complete ownership of landscape projects after sales closure.
- Review project scope, designs, BOQs and customer commitments.
- Plan manpower, materials and timelines.
- Coordinate design, procurement and execution.
- Monitor projects from start to completion.
- Resolve site-level issues quickly.




- Ensure timely project handover.

2. Manage 300+ Ground WorkforceBuild and manage a large operations hierarchy covering: Operations Head → Project Managers → Supervisors → Gardeners / Ground Team

Responsibilities include

- Workforce planning.
- Manpower deployment.
- Attendance and productivity.
- Supervisor management.
- Team discipline.
- Training and development.
- Performance tracking.
- Recruitment requirements.
- Workforce retention.
- Emergency manpower allocation.

3. Ground ExecutionEnsure execution quality across:
- Softscape
- Hardscape
- Planting
- Irrigation
- Drainage
- Outdoor lighting
- Planters
- Vertical gardens
- Terrace gardens
- Rooftop gardens
- Balcony gardens
- Society landscaping
- Garden maintenance

You should understand how landscape designs actually get executed on the ground.

- Sales to ExecutionCreate a strong handover mechanism between Sales, Design and Operations.

Before a project reaches the site, ensure:
- Scope is clearly defined.
- Drawings are approved.
- BOQ is complete.
- Materials are identified.
- Manpower is planned.
- Timeline is agreed.
- Customer commitments are documented.

5. Procurement & Vendors
- Coordinate procurement for all active projects.
- Manage nurseries, material vendors and contractors.
- Ensure plants and materials reach sites on time.
- Negotiate with vendors where required.
- Prevent execution delays due to material shortages.
- Control material wastage.

6. Cost & Productivity
- Monitor project-wise operational costs.
- Track manpower productivity.
- Control material wastage.
- Improve labour utilisation.
- Identify operational cost-saving opportunities.
- Work with Finance to monitor project profitability.

7. Quality ControlCreate and enforce execution standards.
- Conduct site inspections.
- Check workmanship.
- Ensure planting quality.
- Verify irrigation and drainage.
- Ensure design specifications are followed.
- Reduce rework.




- Establish project completion checklists.

8. Build the Operations MachineAs EcoLiving scales, you will be responsible for building systems that allow us to execute hundreds and eventually thousands of projects.

Required Experience

- 6–8+ years of relevant experience in landscaping / landscape project execution.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects.
- Solid experience managing field teams.
- Experience managing gardeners and supervisors.
- Strong understanding of landscape execution.
- Experience in residential, commercial or large-scale landscaping preferred.

Project requirements, customer commitments and operational emergencies may require extended hours, site visits or immediate problem-solving.
