Operations Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on and result-oriented Operations Manager to manage and streamline day-to-day business operations, vendor coordination, procurement, supply chain activities, and import/export processes.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in vendor management, procurement, inventory coordination, costing, and operational execution. Candidates with experience in an E-commerce or D2C environment will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end vendor sourcing, onboarding, negotiation, and relationship management.
- Identify and evaluate new vendors based on quality, pricing, reliability, and delivery timelines.
- Handle procurement activities, including quotation comparison, price negotiation, purchase coordination, and order tracking.
- Manage import and export operations, including documentation, shipment coordination, and communication with relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate supply chain and inventory operations to ensure timely availability of products/materials.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, replenishment requirements, and potential shortages.
- Track vendor costing, timelines, quality, and delivery commitments.
- Resolve day-to-day operational issues and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for timely closure.
- Maintain proper records of vendors, procurement, purchase orders, shipments, inventory, and operational expenses.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize processes.
- Coordinate with logistics, finance, warehouse, procurement,



and other relevant teams.
- Ensure operational activities are completed within defined timelines and budgets.
- Prepare regular operational reports and provide updates to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2–4 years of relevant experience in Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, Vendor Management, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience in vendor sourcing and negotiation.
- Good understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
- Practical experience in import/export operations and documentation.
- Experience in inventory and logistics coordination.
- Robust vendor management and communication skills.
- Good understanding of costing, quotations, pricing, and commercial negotiations.
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple operational activities and timelines.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and operational reporting.

Preferred Experience Candidates who have worked with an E-commerce, D2C, retail, consumer brand, or product-based company will be preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
