About Ebenezer Hatcheries Private Limited
Ebenezer Hatcheries Private Limited is a growing poultry enterprise involved in breeding, hatchery operations, poultry farming, retail/wholesale stores and allied poultry businesses. We are expanding our operations and are looking for an experienced and responsible Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and drive operational efficiency across the organization.
Job Summary The Operations Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and improving the company's day-to-day operational activities. The role requires strong leadership, reporting, coordination, problem-solving, and execution capabilities.
The selected candidate will work closely with the Managing Director and Chairman and will be responsible for ensuring that operational targets, SOPs, productivity, quality, and reporting standards are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day operations of the company.
- Monitor hatchery, breeding farm, poultry farm, and related operational activities.
- Ensure smooth coordination between production, hatchery, farms, sales, purchase, accounts, HR, logistics, and administration.
- Implement and monitor company SOPs and operational procedures.
- Track key operational KPIs including production, mortality, FCR, hatchability, productivity, wastage, costs, and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to the MD/Chairman.
- Identify operational issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Monitor employee productivity and departmental performance.
- Coordinate procurement, inventory, logistics, and material requirements with respective departments.
- Ensure timely execution of management decisions and operational plans.
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting systems.
- Conduct regular operational reviews and follow up on pending activities.
- Support management in expansion projects and implementation of new systems.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, productivity improvement, and process optimization.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, biosecurity practices, and operational standards.
- Coordinate with external vendors, service providers, farmers, and business partners when required.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Performance will be evaluated based on measurable operational results, including:
- Timely and accurate reporting
- Production and operational efficiency
- Hatchery performance
- Farm performance
- Mortality and FCR management
- Cost control
- Inventory management
- Employee productivity
- SOP compliance
- Timely completion of assigned tasks
- Problem-solving and corrective-action implementation
Incentives Performance-based incentives will be provided in addition to the fixed salary.

Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Poultry Science, Veterinary Science, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in poultry, hatchery, farming, agriculture, food production,
or operations management will be preferred.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Good knowledge of operational planning and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work with multiple departments simultaneously.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, reporting tools, and basic ERP/software systems.
- Willingness to travel to company farms and operational units when required.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
